David joined Capel Court in October 2019, is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (MCSI) and holds the Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. David has worked within the Financial Services industry for over 35 years, with a career encompassing positions as a foreign exchange trader at NatWest Markets, Head of Trading at other major international banking institutions, before moving onto Private Client Wealth & Investment Management. David is also a member of the Society of Technical Analysts and is qualified as a Certified Financial Technician which gives him the scope to scrutinise financial markets based on the movement of prices, trade volumes, patterns formed and the forecasting of future price movements.
David has a passionate belief in the delivery of exceptional client service and thoroughly enjoys the relationships formed with clients. When not at work, David enjoys spending time with his family, taking long walks with his dog, as well as undertaking the occasional DIY project and going for long bike rides in the countryside. For his sins, he remains a long-standing and keen supporter of West Ham United FC.
