EACH MONTH A SHORT SUMMARY OF OUR IN-HOUSE VIEWS ON THE UK MARKET IS PRODUCED

This takes into account world economies, currency movements and commodity prices such as oil and gold, which could have a direct effect on the UK.

Domestic factors which have an influence are also assessed.  These include inflation, manufacturing output, interest rates, unemployment, sterling and taxation.

Consumer spending and property prices are evaluated together with in-house technical analysis giving trends, resistance and support levels for the major equity markets, sectors and shares.

Market sectors and shares with particularly bullish or bearish outlooks are also indicated.
